Create lowres version of each image linked to your InDesign document to keep your document lighter.

When you run it, the script will create copies of each image linked in your document and these copies will be linked instead of the original ones. The copies will be created in the same directory where the original ones are saved in. Running the code again, the lowres copies will be deleted from your storage and the original copies will be linked again. This Plus version of the script allow you to choose the resolution, the color space, and the quality of the lowres copies. It also allow you to choose if you want to crop the images as InDesign view or keep it the original size.

This is a very useful script to Ajar Production’s in5™ plugin, and for the ones working on network based companies, or even if you computer is not faster as you want.
